Our name “Profemina” comes from the Latin pro femina, meaning "for the woman”. Our passion and area of expertise is being there for women facing challenging pregnancy situations.

Profemina is an international, nonprofit organisation
Profemina International Impresa Sociale S.r.l. was founded in 2021 in Bolzano, Italy. It is recognised as a charitable organisation and operates internationally. Our services are already available in German, Italian, English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Dutch — with more languages continuously being added!
In providing personalised counselling, we maintain long-standing, trusted partnerships with Pro Femina e.V. for German-speaking women and Apoio à Vida for Portuguese-speaking women.

I once took the pregnancy termination test from Pro Femina. If I remember correctly, I then received an email that was incredibly detailed and thorough. That message gave me a great deal of strength. In the end, I decided against having an abortion.
